Teleportation Matrix: Once per battle, at the end of your opponent's turn, if this FORTIFICATION is not within Engagement Range of any enemy units, you may remove it from the battlefield. In the Reinforcements step of your next Movement phase, set it up anywhere more than 9" horizontally from all enemy models. If the battle ends while it is off the battlefield, it is destroyed.
Phase-shifted Cover: Each time a ranged attack is allocated to a model that is not fully visible to every model in the attacking unit because of this FORTIFICATION, that model has the Benefit of Cover against that attack.
FORTIFICATION: While an enemy unit is only within Engagement Range of one or more Fortifications from your army: that unit can still be chosen as the target of ranged attacks, but each such attack (unless made with a Pistol) suffers a -1 penalty to its Hit roll; and its models do not have to take Desperate Escape tests for Falling Back while Battle-shocked, except any that would move over enemy models in doing so.
